Destination Weddings Expert Takes Top Groups Producer in the Caribbean at Classic Vacations Star Performers Event

It’s something truly special when those partners take time out of their busy schedules to recognize the efforts of Travel Advisors in the community who are dedicated to their craft and passionate about this industry.
Last week, Classic Vacations, one of our preferred Tour Operators and a true partner to Destination Weddings Expert, invited 25 of the Top Groups Producers to Secrets Playa Blanca in Costa Mujeres, Mexico (more to come on this amazing property in later posts) to celebrate the efforts of each of their Top Performers. This event is known as Star Performers and DWE has had the honor of attending for the past few years. It’s our chance to experience a new property, connect with our partners on a professional level and take a moment out of our busy schedules to find inspiration with our peers for the year to come.
There are some honors that leave you feeling humbled as a business owner. During the Star Performers event, we were thrilled to learn that this year, we have the honor of being recognized as the Top Groups Producer in the Caribbean. This is such an inspired accomplishment for our team, especially this year, as we work to continue the legacy of our founder, Will Medina. A Dominican Republic native, Will had a deep love and passion for the Caribbean, wanting each and every person he spoke with to experience its beauty and magnificence. How fitting that the first year his agency had to live on in his honor, we take home the Top Groups Producer of the Caribbean award.
We here at Destination Weddings Expert are humbled by the honor, are so proud of the hard work our team does to ensure an amazing experience for our couples and their guests, and are so excited for what the future holds for our small but mighty team.
